To glorify God and to affirm the Lordship of
Jesus Christ and to proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom by obeying the Great
Commission and to seek to live out the Great Commandment in the power of the
Holy Spirit.
VISION STATEMENT
We believe that God wants the Diocese to work in
unity, characterised by:
1. Congregational worship that
is wholehearted, enriching and meaningful celebration.
2. Prayerful dependence on
God.
3. Effective biblical
preaching and teaching.
4. Exercise of the gifts of the
Holy Spirit by all members for the edification of the whole body of Christ and
for the extension of the

members through small groups in the community.
6. Members both clergy and
laity equipped for effective ministry of evangelism and social concerns.
So that the Church will be a church in whose
worship there is the joy of the Spirit, in whose
preaching there is the authority of the Spirit, in whose service, the gifts of
the Spirit are in full use and in whose fellowship there is the love of God.
STRATEGIES
1. To encourage missionary
partnership through inter-parish ministry and with other churches.
2. To encourage personal
devotion and regular corporate prayer meetings.
3. To identify and train
personnel for the manifold works of ministry like teaching, preaching,
evangelism, youth works, pre-marriage and marriage counsellings
and so on.
4. To encourage the parishes
to be self-reliant so that they can be self-supporting.
5. To encourage renewal and
restoration to Anglicans in the Diocese.
6. To identify the unreached and the unchurched.
GOALS
To build
up the body of Christ to become mature and to attain the fullness of Christ.
